abra-cloud is searching for a DevOps Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing complex cloud infrastructures. The role involves leveraging advanced automation frameworks and state-of-the-art technologies to deliver scalable and efficient cloud solutions for our clients. As a DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include architecting, maintaining, and enhancing the AWS cloud infrastructure. You will implement and manage comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems, diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, and develop robust automation solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. This position includes on-call duty outside business hours (as needed) to support production environments and handle critical incidents. Summary of Key Responsibilities • Deployment of advanced services on the AWS cloud • Implement automation solutions • Maintain a feedback loop with our customers to ensure deliveries meet the customer’s needs and expectations • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues • Configure large-scale monitoring and logging solutions • Assist in designing a customized architecture • Participate in an on-call rotation outside business hours to ensure high availability and timely incident response
Requirements:
• 1 year of proficiency with cloud service providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) • 3+ years of professional Linux Networking • Experience with Security Products (Firewall, Web Gateways, Proxies) • Strong experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Swarm, Docker, etc.) • Experience in customer-facing roles • Scripting abilities in at least two of the following: Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell • Innovative problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking • Proficiency in CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, CircleCI, CodePipeline) • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Serverless framework) • Serverless architecture knowledge Advantages • AWS Certifications • Experience with system monitoring platforms • Experience with centralized logging platforms (ELK) • Experience with production environments • AWS Security tooling and best practices (Security Hub, AWS Config, WAF / Shield, CDN, etc.)
