We are developing state-of-the-art LiDAR sensors and advanced perception software for the automotive industry. We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative team developing LiDAR systems for autonomous vehicles. We are looking for a talented hands-on contributor and feature owner, to lead multi-disciplinary systems development and integration, from KPI and data analysis and algorithm prototyping to customer delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead system engineering activities across the LiDAR development lifecycle, from concept through integration and validation.
Develop LiDAR features including algorithms, calibration methods and post-processing solutions.
Perform system-level testing, characterization and modeling.
Contribute to requirements definition, system design, and design reviews with cross-functional teams.
Develop Python- based simulations, prototypes, and automation tools for rapid proof-of-concept and laboratory equipment control.
Lead development processes according to Automotive SPICE standards.

5+ years of experience in hands-on multidisciplinary systems engineering.
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent from a leading institution (M.Sc. an advantage).
Strong understanding of electro-opto-mechanical systems and calibration processes.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, simulation, and automation.
High level of problem solving skills and debugging of high-complexity systems.
Hands-on experience with lab equipment and measurements of physical systems – an advantage).
Fast learner who can rapidly adapt to new tools, technologies and workflows.
Experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a track record of driving projects to completion.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
5+ years of experience in hands-on multidisciplinary systems engineering.
