We are looking for a strategic, business-oriented procurement professional to lead indirect procurement for the IT and R&D organizations, with a strong focus on SaaS / software licensing (SAS), IT hardware, end-user computing, networks, cloud, and IT infrastructure services. The role will partner closely with IT, R&D, Finance, and Legal to drive commercial excellence, supplier performance, risk management, and measurable cost optimization across global spend categories.
Responsibilities:
Own and execute category strategies for IT and R&D spend (e.g., SaaS/subscriptions, software licenses, IT hardware, infrastructure, networks, cloud/IaaS, support & maintenance).
Translate stakeholder needs into commercial strategies and sourcing plans, balancing speed, quality, risk, and total cost of ownership.
Continuously assess market dynamics, benchmark pricing, and identify cost-reduction and value-creation initiatives.
Manage purchasing requests from multiple departments globally; ensure sourcing and buying decisions meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Act as a commercial interface for local and global teams, supporting ongoing engagements, renewals, expansions, and new initiatives.
Independently prioritize multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships; establish healthy partnership communications and governance routines.
Drive supplier performance management via KPIs/QBRs, scorecards, service reviews, and continuous improvement programs.
Proactively source and qualify new vendors; manage competitive bids/RFPs and ensure supplier options remain current.
Lead negotiations for complex projects and services, including pricing models, SLAs, service scope, and commercial terms.
Draft/review and negotiate technology agreements in collaboration with Legal and key stakeholders.
Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep healthy partnership communications.

Requirements:
At least five years of experience in strategic sourcing / indirect procurement, with meaningful focus on IT and/or R&D categories (software, SaaS/subscriptions, hardware, infrastructure/services).
Demonstrated success negotiating complex technology deals (pricing models, SLAs, renewals, professional services).
Strong stakeholder management skills-able to translate technical requirements into commercial outcomes.
Strong analytical capability (cost models, TCO, benchmarking) and high ownership/independence.
Education: BA in relevant field form a known University.
Working experience with ERP systems, NetSuite and Zip – an advantage.
Good understanding of Operations processes
Excellent written and verbal English is required; additional languages are an advantage
Good knowledge of MS Office
Proficiency and experience in Excel
Good IT/BI Tools knowledge, Qlik sense an advantage

Multitasking capabilities, well organized and detailed oriented
Ability to work independently.
