Core Responsibilities
Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues
Set up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripherals
Create and manage user accounts and permissions
Assist with monitoring network performance and troubleshooting basic connectivity issues
Support installation, updates, and patching of operating systems and software
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and assets
Document issues and resolutions in a helpdesk ticketing system
Assist senior IT staff with projects and system upgrades
Follow basic cybersecurity practices (antivirus, backups, access controls)
What We're Looking For
A degree, diploma, or certificate in IT, DevOps, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, OR completion of a recognized IT course or bootcamp (e.g. CompTIA, Google IT Support, Microsoft, Cisco), OR relevant military technical experience
Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers)
Understanding of basic cybersecurity practices
A fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, able to explain technical issues in plain language
Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player
