we are looking for a Agentic AI & Algorithms Team Lead.
As an Agentic AI & Algorithms Team Lead, you will lead a high-caliber team of AI engineers while staying hands-on in the codebase (~50%). You will also act as the Solution Architect for the algorithmic product, working closely with the CTO and VP Product with core influence on the product roadmap.
The AI is the core of the product, and the AI itself is the decision-maker. It performs diagnosis and root-cause analysis on complex, multi-source data (spectral, time-series, tabular, and more) to produce the conclusions the product delivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a focused team of algorithm engineers and data scientists building AI Agents for production-grade, decision-making systems.
Own the Agentic AI solution architecture at the core of the company's flagship product: ensure the accuracy required for mission-critical decisions, design robust guardrails, and control token consumption and cost.
Act as Solution Architect: turn ambiguous customer or internal ideas into a concrete technical specification and a working implementation.
Spend ~50% of your time writing code, focused on high-risk, critical milestones such as researching and building POCs for novel algorithmic approaches.
Work directly with the CTO and VP Product to align the algorithmic strategy with the product roadmap and core capabilities, given the deep impact this role has on both.
Work directly with industrial domain experts to translate their specialized knowledge into the AI's decision logic.

Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in Algorithm Development, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning.
3+ years leading an algorithmic or data science team in a fast-paced environment.
2+ years of proven, hands-on experience with LLMs and AI Agents driving complex, high-stakes decision-making systems.
Proven Solution Architecture experience: taking a vague idea (from a customer or internally) through to technical specification and implementation.
Hands-on experience working with multi-source data (spectral, time-series, or tabular) in production.
Strong passion for staying hands-on and coding alongside your team (~50% of the time).
5+ years of hands-on experience in Algorithm Development, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning.
3+ years leading an algorithmic or data science team in a fast-paced environment.
