Required Front End Engineer
About the Card Team:
The Card Team is at the heart of our credit card product. We manage the entire customer lifecycle, from the initial application and card ordering process to automated account management, including collections, credit limit adjustments, and monthly statements. Our team develops and maintains the platforms that allow over 200,000 customers (a number that has nearly doubled in the last year) to manage their accounts, update personal details, make payments, and view their transaction history. We support both direct-to-consumer cards and co-branded cards for our strategic partners, making a direct impact on the company's growth and our customers' financial lives.
What Youll Do:
As a Frontend Engineer on the Card Team, you will take ownership of the primary platforms our customers interact with daily: our web portal and native mobile app. You will be responsible for developing new features and enhancing the functionality related to our credit card services. This is a key role where you will directly shape the user experience for hundreds of thousands of cardholders, building the next generation of features for our rapidly growing product.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, and maintain the customer-facing web and native applications for our credit card product.
Take ownership of the end-to-end development of new credit card-related features, from concept to deployment.
Implement new functionalities, such as customer benefits, rewards programs, and innovative payment solutions.
Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver a seamless, high-performance user experience.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and team standards.
Contribute to a collaborative environment, sharing your expertise and mentoring other team members.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in frontend development.
Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
A passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a keen eye for detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
Resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with React Native.
Familiarity with backend development (Node.js, Java, or Kotlin).
Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright.
Knowledge of WebSockets.
Prior experience in a fintech company, especially with payment processing or financial services.
5+ years of experience in frontend development.
