Physicist position for the detection center of excellence, working in close collaboration in with the Healthcare Physics and System team, to develop & research next generation of molecular imaging gamma rays subsystem detection devices and to support ongoing activities as part of Product Life Cycle.
Job Description
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Implement multidisciplinary knowledge to optimize detection performance.
Evaluating and extending new concepts as well as providing innovation which can be developed into new product based on gamma rays detection technology
Use broad expertise in physics to help resolve urgent issues with current Nuclear Medicine products.
The work is also experimental and requires hands execution of various tasks, such as: Calibrations, detector performance tests.
Implement knowledge and work with other functions (Software, Hardware and Mechanical teams) to optimize and debug detection performance
Evaluate and extend new concepts as well as provide innovation, which can be easily developed and added incorporated into detector subsytems
Use simulation tools to meet performance requirements and optimize system detection design parameters that are critical to system image quality
Get to know trends and new technologies in MI industry

Requirements:
MSc or PhD (preferred) in solid state physics
More than 4 years industrial work experience
Experience in the medical device or semiconductor industry – advantage
Experience in radiation detector field – advantage
Demonstrated analytical problem-solving ability
Experience in MATLAB coding – advantage
Experienced team/people management – advantage
