We are seeking an Industrial and Management Engineering student to join our Operations Team and assist with purchasing and materials. In this position, you will work with global company entities and worldwide suppliers, and carry out strategic initiatives and tactical executions using an end-to-end approach to achieve company goals and support roadmaps.
A day in the life and how youll make an impact: Supporting the local team by opening New requisitions for the company users.
* Opening new Purchase orders, sending them to vendors, and following up.
* Processing invoices, opening new vendors – working closely with Finance
* Kept track of deliveries to ensure they arrived as planned.
* Followed up on order approvals to avoid any delays.
* Process item receipts and work closely with the company material planner
* Generate vendor leads for competitive pricing
* Handle emergency part requests and propose solutions
* Cross-functional collaboration within the organization, such as R&D, NPI, and Engineering, while ensuring best procurement practices.
* A proactive, tenacious, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Requirements:
* Currently enrolled as a 3rd / 4th year student in Industrial and Management Engineering, with at least one yea r until graduation
* Availability for a minimum of 2.5 full working days per week (50%).
* Knowledge in purchasing and logistics process – Advantage.
* ERP experience (NetSuite) – advantage.
* English – writing and speaking at a good level – a Must.
* Can work independently and manage his/her tasks.
* Highly motivated, organized, and with a positive attitude.
* Ability to take initiative, own tasks, and be flexible regarding changing priorities.
