Requirements:
Responsibilities:
* Handle backend tasks for a growing SAAS product, design and implement the architecture, along with maintenance and monitoring primarily in Ruby.
* Take ownership over features.
* Collaborate with product managers to refine product requirements.
* Be a source of knowledge for junior engineers.
* Build APIs and background services, including:
* Integrating with external platforms.
* Scraping and analyzing content from the web.
* Integrating with internal machine learning services.
* APIs to be used by external customers. lifications:
* 5+ years of industry experience in a production web environment, including monitoring and performance tuning.
* 3+ years of experience with Python/Node/Go/Ruby for a Linux environment.
* Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases. (Advantage)
* Experience with AWS. (Advantage)
* Experience with Docker, K8s, scale. (Advantage)
* A real passion for solving problems and delivering value.
* The ability to write clean code, as well as continuously refactor and improve existing code.
* The ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team.
* Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
