This position is perfect for someone who thrives at creating high-quality user interfaces and has a track record of leading UI infrastructure projects as well as driving UI guilds or communities of practice. Youll partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver world-class user experiences at scale. Beyond hands-on development, youll help define the future of our frontend architecture, establish best practices, and mentor fellow frontend engineers.
Responsibilities
Take full ownership of features from product requirements through to live testing in production
Build and deliver scalable, high-quality software that meets the highest standards of performance and reliability
Lead the design and implementation of UI infrastructure projects and design system
Define and drive the frontend technical strategy, setting standards and best practices across teams
Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver exceptional user experiences
Champion the UI guild by facilitating knowledge sharing, guiding discussions, and fostering frontend excellence across the organization.
Mentor and support other frontend engineers, helping them grow their technical expertise
Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing new frontend technologies and approaches thoughtfully into the stack
At least 6 years of experience with web development
2+ years of experience working with React.js and TypeScript
2+ years of experience with Node.js (advantage).
Hands-on experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or similar)
Demonstrated experience leading UI infrastructure initiatives (e.g., component libraries, design systems, performance optimization frameworks).
Experience leading or actively participating in a UI guild or similar cross-team frontend community.
Strong passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest full-stack technologies .
Proven ability to write clean, high-quality, production-ready code
Experience building and maintaining testable code with automated tests is second nature
Solid background in working with REST APIs and/or API Gateways
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
