Whats the job?
As a Product Data Analyst, you will own the data strategy of a product domain end to end. This is a highly impactful role with strong technical data skills with deep product and analytical thinking.
You wont just analyze dashboards – youll define what success looks like, influence what gets built, and ensure every major product decision is backed by reliable data and actionable insights. Youll act as the data authority for your domain, partnering closely with Product Managers, R&D, and business stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
Own the data vision and KPI framework for a product domain, from definition to execution.
Partner closely with Product Managers to:
Define success metrics
Prioritize roadmap initiatives
Influence decisions on what to build-and what not to build.
Design, define, and own event-based tracking, collaborating with engineers to ensure accuracy, scalability, and data quality.
Build, maintain, and evolve analytical data models and DWH tables using SQL, dbt, and BigQuery.
Lead A/B tests and product experiments, from hypothesis and design to analysis and recommendations.
Create clear, intuitive dashboards and visualizations for product teams and leadership.
Proactively surface insights that drive:
Feature adoption
User engagement
Product performance and growth.
Serve as the gatekeeper of product data quality, ensuring reliable tracking and trusted metrics.

Requirements:
Which qualifications youll need:
4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Product Analyst in a fast-paced tech or SaaS environment.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and analytical data modeling.
Proven experience in product analytics, event-based tracking, and experimentation (A/B testing).
Experience building dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Looker, Metabase, or Tableau.
Comfortable working in version-controlled environments (Git) and collaborating closely with developers.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate product and business questions into clear KPIs, metrics, and tracking plans.
A proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
Advantages:
Experience with dbt, BigQuery, Airflow, or Dagster.
Solid understanding of statistics, experimentation design, and anomaly detection.
Which qualifications youll need:
