Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for the app, considering various devices, operating systems, and user scenarios. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated testing of our app features across multiple platforms (iOS and Android). Identify and report bugs, issues, and potential improvements, providing detailed documentation for development teams.
Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure the app meets specified speed, responsiveness, and scalability requirements. Analyze and optimize app performance under various conditions and scenarios.
Regression Testing: Implement and maintain an effective regression testing strategy to guarantee that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during regression testing.
Collaboration: Collaborate with development, design, and product teams to understand requirements and provide input on design and functionality. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies.
Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Identify opportunities for test automation and work with the automation team to implement and maintain automated test suites.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports. Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies. Proactively contribute to process improvements within the QA team and the development lifecycle.
