This manager should be a product minded individual that will combine traditional management consulting skills with data analytics, to lead our data group (Tel Aviv & Seattle).
The Analysis org that you will lead currently consists of a Group Manager and two analysis teams (~10 Analysts in Tel Aviv and Seattle) and is responsible for two different financial consumer products and two different business units. One business unit is the Rewire Israeli product, and the additional business unit is for a new product we are building. We are planning to grow the team and expand its scope.
Responsibilities :
You will be leading the Analysis org, forming the structure, creating the processes, and embedding best practices to give the quality stamp on all strategic data needs for all our departments (Product, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Engineering, etc).
You will lead the work on Business-Unit level KPIs like LTV, Product usage, product health etc.
You will be responsible to assure that we, as a team, ask the right business questions and pursue the right hypotheses.
You will be gathering data requirements from the stakeholders, own the planning, be responsible for the information analysis, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations.
You will be working closely with the data engineering teams in defining the needs of the Analysis group.
3+ years of experience Managing analytics group (multiple managers and multiple teams)
5+ years of hands-on Business consulting/strategist/management/marketing or equivalent in a fast growing e-commerce/fintech/etc company.
BSc/BA in a highly quantitative field such as mathematics / Industrial Engineering / Economics / Statistics or equivalent academic knowledge or experience.
Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
Strong skills in data modeling and business logic processes.
Experience with understanding data concepts and data analytics.
Hands-on Experience with Excel and visualizations tools such as Tableau, Looker etc.
Passionate about the ability of BI to change a business and how raw data can be transformed into key insights.
