A growing start up in the Sharon area is hiring a VP R&D & AI to manage the development of our AI software and to own our technology development strategy. This is a strategic management role reporting to the CEO and participating in all senior leadership forums.
As part of this role you will be responsible for:
* All R&D customer facing technology
* Management of the development and research teams creating this technology
* Bringing the voice, needs and challenges of our R&D into all leadership forums
* Owning our R&D development strategy including decisions on architecture and tech-stack
* Fostering a culture of AI innovation within the AI development team and across the whole business
As part of this role you will be responsible for:

* 10+ years experience leading cutting edge technology teams, including managing R&D and AI team leads.
* Have a deep understanding of AI through cutting edge hands-on experience delivering working AI-based solutions
* Are entrepreneurial minded and have significant startup experience
* Are excited about being part of the next generation of AI in the enterprise
* And want a front-row seat working with a world-class team, partners and customers
* experience building deep technology products to be sold & used by large enterprises
* passion for using the latest technologies to drive rapid development cycles
* Bonus – have experience building open source software
