– Therapeutic Support: Assist Physical Therapists during locomotor training sessions, including providing hands-on support for standing, stepping, and guided lower limb movements, ensuring proper positioning and mobility activities.
– Participant Coordination: Take charge of recruiting, scheduling, screening, and tracking study participants; serve as their primary point of contact and advocate throughout the study duration.
– Bachelor's degree in Medical Device Engineering Degree and Medical Technologist Certificate/ Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or a related field.
– Senior-level students may apply for internships with the option to transition into a full-time role after graduation.
– Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with participants and team members.
– Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas will be given preference:
Working in a clinical or therapeutic setting with hands-on patient care Execution of structured research protocols. Experience working with individuals with spinal cord injuries or other neurological conditions.
