This is a hands-on leadership role where youll be expected to contribute directly, while also enabling others to deliver and grow.
What Youll Do
Own projects end-to-end: from scoping, design, and implementation to delivery and ongoing improvement.
Drive technical alignment and foster collaboration across functions and teams.
Set and maintain the engineering quality bar through best practices, reviews, and continuous improvement.
Mentor, coach, and support the growth of other engineers on the team.
Balance architectural decisions with business needs, scalability, and delivery timelines.
Design and build maintainable, extensible, and performance-minded services / APIs.
Advocate for modern engineering practices.
5+ years of relevant industry experience, with a proven ability to own and deliver complex projects.
Strong background in backend development (Node.js / Typescript / JavaScript / Other, ideally in microservices or serverless architectures).
Experience with NoSQL data stores (MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you thrive in cross-functional settings.
Strong grasp of Agile development practices.
Experience delivering APIs used by web, mobile, and/or third-party partners.
